Lets review all the golf balls in the Nike One range: The Tour features 4-piece construction and a seamless urethane cover. The Tour is a great all-around ball and provides great distance over the fairway and good control on the green. The biggest advantage of the Tour is the spin it provides when chipping. When the ball hits the green off your wedge, it sticks right in the spot you put it.
The Tour D provides a softened version of the progressive density core. This minor adjustment in the ball provided more distance off the tee, even with slower club head speeds without sacrificing control on the green. The consensus was that this ball is a distance ball and is a good choice for lower handicap golfers.

The final ball in the Nike One arsenal is the Vapor. The difference between the Vapor and the two Tour balls is noticeable immediately. For those with slow swing speeds the Vapor is the perfect ball. It rockets off the tee and traveled much farther than the Tour and Tour D. It also has a level of accuracy that is more forgiving than the other two balls. However, on the green, the Vapor had less “sticking power” because of the difference in spin.
The Nike One line of balls is an exceptional step up from the line that they replaced from last year. With these improvements, Nike golf balls stand more of a chance of finding their way off the shelves and onto the course.
