HX Hot Bite Golf Balls
HX Hot Bite advantages: Callaway's soft cover provides superior bite on the green.
Callaway has introduced a new ball for those who have the need to be completely in control when it comes to their short game. The HX Hot Bite golf ball is a three-piece ball that delivers ultimate control on the green and a high-speed core that delivers long distance, regardless of your swing speed.
On the inside of this ball, Callaway starts with a soft, high-resiliency polybutadiene core that helps maximise the speed of the ball. For anyone with swing speeds that are below 164 km/h this helps send drives soaring along the fairway.

Outside the core is an ionomer boundary layer that helps the ball maintain its shape in your short game. When the ball maintains its shape integrity, the result is faster spin off of your irons and wedges. Faster spin means better control when the ball lands on the green.
The final component of this ball is the ionomer cover. The cover, itself, is soft enough that it allows the ball to stop quickly on the green. This gives you the control you need to cut strokes off your short game. Because of its ionomer construction, the cover is extremely durable and will endure the toughest strikes from your irons and woods.
With the Callaway HX Hot Bite golf ball, round dimples are a thing of the past. Callaway’s new Hex Aerodynamics technology helps create tour-style flight trajectory and reduces drag. Hexagonal shaped dimples surround the ball and create a pattern that has no seam. Not having a seam reduces the amount of drag on this ball and in return you get maximum distance. The sub-hex patterns on each of the dimples create more lift and greater stability off the tee, as well.
